Slither your way over to Boulder Ridge Wild Animal Park again this year to spend the day viewing snakes, lizards, tortoises, alligators, and even baby crocodiles! Reptile Day is the perfect family day of fun and learning with the opportunity to hold a variety of reptiles! Come and see, up close and personal, a variety of table displays of live snakes, turtles, lizards, and crocodilians from around the world.
Don’t miss this opportunity to interact with the Michigan Society of Herpetologists, whose members are some of Michigan’s premier reptile experts and will be giving live presentations throughout the morning. They will be teaching visitors about reptiles’ unique, ecologically important roles, their natural habitats, and the ecological threats they face.
Boulder Ridge zookeepers and park attendants will also be weighing and measuring many of the reptiles in the Park’s collection in full view of visitors. Don’t miss this exciting day of family fun and education!
