Join us for our 2nd and last Eat, Drink, Conserve Wildlife event of the year!
This event will feature a Pulled Bison & Potato Dinner as well as beer and wine and full access to the zoo after hours! On top of this we will have several animal encounters happening that evening as well!
Animal Encounter Schedule:
6:00-6:30 PM – Greeting incoming guests with Baby Bobcat
6:45-7:15 PM – Strolling the zoo grounds with either Brooks Kingsnake or Carpet Python (depends if one is in shed at the time or not)
7:15 – 8:00 PM – Animal “LOVE” around the world!
-Adult guests will be treated to a tour of a region of the zoo where education staff will present interesting information regarding animal
mating habits. Biofacts such as skulls, horns, antlers, fur pelts, etc will be utilized to compliment the tour and educational content. Tour will conclude at 8:00 PM by the penguin exhibit where keeper staff will bring out 1-2 penguins off exhibit for guests to interact with and potentially touch.
8:00 PM – Penguin encounter outside penguin exhibit
8:15 – 8:35 – Strolling with baby kangaroo
8:45 PM – event conclusion – Strolling with baby alligator as guests leave event
Buy your tickets online because this event is limited to 250 people and usually sells out. Join us August 11th from 6 pm to 9 pm for a great adult (21+) evening where you can have some fun and support wildlife conservation at the same time! Oh, did we forget to mention…100% of the profits from this event will be donated to wildlife conservation!
